Buddha Air to add three Airbuses to its existing fleet!

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Buddha Air has completed 20 years of non-stop dedicated service. It had begun its first service here in Nepal with a one-hour-long mountain flight by Witchcraft 1900 D manufactured in the United States of America.

Buddha Air that operates flights mainly in urban areas of Nepal holds around 63 percent of the market. It has now two witchcraft, seven ATR aircraft. According to the company, another ATR aircraft is being brought in the second week of 2018 while the next one will be brought in the month of June, said marketing and sales director Rupesh Joshi.

With the International Airport construction completing soon in Pokhara, Buddha Air Company said that it is mulling to hold talks with a European airbus manufacturing company on purchasing 320 Family Series Airbus.

 Expressing hope that Pokhara International Airport will be completed in time, the company has made preparations to conduct flights from three wide-body aircraft from August 1, 2021, said Birendra Bahadur Basnet, Managing Director of the company.
